Picket shrinkage is the complaint that generates returns: boards arrive at 24 % and dry to 15 % across a season, opening gaps and lifting nails. We kiln to below 18 %, assemble with ring-shank fixings, and publish the expected movement range in your product copy instead of hoping nobody notices.

Assembled panels or knock-down. Which is cheaper landed?
Knock-down kits cut freight roughly 22 % because you stop shipping air between pickets, and they insure better. But contractors refuse KD. We quote both per market: retail and online go KD, trade go assembled, and the difference usually pays for the extra cube in reduced returns.
Can you produce the US '6 ft privacy' style with a solid board backer?
Yes: 1950 × 1800 mm frames with 100 × 12 boards and an optional 6 mm backer rail, plus 4 × 4 posts and metal caps. This line is heavy. We plan the container by weight, not cube, and tell you the real per-panel landed cost before you commit.
Do you ship posts with panels in the same container?
Routinely. A typical 40'HQ is 60 % panels, 30 % posts, 10 % caps and fixings by volume. We produce one packing list with panel/post pairs numbered so a crew can unload a whole house per bundle.
What warranty can I offer on treatment?
We back the treatment process (retention and penetration per charge) with certificates, and offer a contractual 5-year rot warranty on class 3 above-ground panels and 10 years on class 4 posts, excluding natural weathering, end-checking and colour change. Your retail warranty is your own commercial decision — we will not print an '20-year' claim we cannot evidence.
