Trellis is a thin-section product, so it lives or dies on slat moisture and joint design. We condition slats to 18–22 % before assembly, run the slots on a CNC so the interference fit holds without glue, and pin every crossing that a customer will hang a climber on. Stapled-only panels are available and we label them clearly as a budget construction so nobody is surprised at year two.

Stapled, slotted or dowelled. What should I buy?
Slotted and pinned for anything sold as 'heavy duty' or into garden centres; stapled only for a promotional price point, and we mark it as such; dowelled for premium brands that want a visible-craft story. The cost delta is small per panel and it changes returns far more than it changes margin.
Can you match a competitor's panel exactly?
Send the panel or three measurements, frame section, slat section, pitch, overall size. We machine a sample and ship 3 pcs for approval in about 12 days including treatment. Tooling is not required for a trellis.
Will green ACQ fade, and do I have to sell that?
Yes it fades to silver-grey in 12–18 months; that is normal and we print the care note rather than hide it. Brown ACQ or a 2-coat opaque finish holds colour 3–5 years; we can also supply a maintenance oil in a co-bundled SKU.
What is the best container mix for a first trellis order?
Most new buyers start with a 20'GP: 900 × 1800 (60 %), 600 × 1800 (30 %) and 300 × 1800 (10 %), roughly 1,900 panels. That keeps one SKU deep enough to advertise while covering the sizes shoppers actually compare.
