Five kinds of buyer, five different order shapes

A garden centre, a contractor and an Etsy seller should not receive the same quotation. Here is what changes for each.

Importers and wholesalers

If you buy by the container and sell by the pallet, you need three things: a stable price band, a load plan, and documents your customers will accept. That is the whole service.
  • Annual programmes with a 90-day price hold per drop and a written timber/freight assumption behind it.
  • Mixed containers by planogram: 6–14 SKUs, one packing list, carton marks mapped to your SKU codes.
  • Reorder speed: stocked blanks give 12–18 days instead of 30–45.
  • Landed-cost worksheet with every quotation so your sales team can price with confidence.
  • Your barcode, your labels, your pallet spec, your EDI-friendly carton numbering.

Garden centres and DIY chains

Retail programmes are seasonal contracts, not orders: shelf date, header card, EN 335 declaration and a restockable accessory. We plan production backwards from your shelf date.
  • Seasonal windows: order June–October for a February–April shelf; November is Christmas décor and lead times stretch.
  • Retail packing: hanging boxes, header cards, shelf-talkers, mixed size per pallet, and spare fixings in every bundle.
  • Own-brand: your label on the rail or the panel, your colour standard signed at first article.
  • Category planning support: we will show you the price ladder across 16/20/28 mm beds, or stapled vs pinned trellis.
  • Documentation for buyer audits: treatment certificates, use-class declarations, EUDR data pack, EPR weights.

Landscape contractors and trade suppliers

Trade buyers want sizes their sites already use, posts that match panels, and a delivery that does not require re-sorting. US 6 ft, EU 1.8 m, and numbered bundles per property.
  • Assembled panels for trade (we will not force knock-down on a crew), KD for your warehouse.
  • Posts, caps, spikes, clamps and screws in the same container, banded per site.
  • Class 4 treatment on anything in ground contact, with the retention certificate attached.
  • Project quantities of 20–200 panels or 5–40 pergola runs, colour-matched to a sample.
  • Oversized and awkward: we plan container loading by weight, and quote it honestly.

Online and marketplace brands

A parcel is a different product. Carton dimensions, drop testing, unboxing, insert cards and a returns-ready spare-parts bag — the difference between a 4.3 and a 4.7 star listing is usually packaging engineering.
  • Carton designed to a carrier size band; ≤ 25 kg per carton where you need a solo-deliverable parcel.
  • ISTA 3A drop test on the finished pack before you approve the design.
  • FBA/FCM prep: labelling, poly-bagging, and case-of-N configurations.
  • Inserts: QR install video, size guide, care card, review-request card (we do not print incentivised reviews).
  • Small starts: 50–300 pcs on stocked blanks, then the same spec scaled to a container.
  • Dropshipping: your order file, name-matched labels, plain outer cartons, above 200 units per campaign.

Frame shops, galleries and sign makers

Loose moulding by the metre, cut kits, matboard and archival options, with a moisture certificate, because a mitre gap in a customer's frame is your reputation, not ours.
  • Stock profiles 15–90 mm face; a new shape is 7–10 days, quoted on the RFQ and credited at volume.
  • Cut kits: four mitred pieces plus keys and points per frame, so no saw is needed at your shop.
  • Archival route: acid-free matboard, inert backing, no off-gassing adhesives.
  • Museum/gallery runs of 30–80 pcs with hand finishing and a conservation note.
  • Monthly reorder on a held lot: 500–2,000 m per profile, same bundle spec, same lot code discipline.

Promotional, gifting and corporate buyers

Engraved goods live or die by the delivery date. Locked artwork proofs, held blanks, and an air lane for when the event moves, as it will.
  • Proof on real material in 3 days; first article signed before production starts.
  • 300 different names on one order: spreadsheet in, name-matched cartons out.
  • 12–18 day turnaround on stocked blanks; 15–20 day air lane for hard dates.
  • Presentation: gift box, ribbon, EVA insert, magnetic lid, kraft sleeve with barcode.
  • Compliance per item: CPSIA and ASTM F963 where a gift has play value; we classify per SKU with you.
