Six-Chamber Insect Hotel
400 × 250 × 400 mm, six heat-treated refillable chambers, engraved logo, retail boxed, quoted per drawing.
Biodiversity mandates, school programmes, corporate-gifting and garden-centre pollinator aisles all created real demand. Retail SERPs are dominated by thin Amazon listings; almost nobody has a factory page with filling specifications, so this category is where a new site earns its first links.
400 × 250 × 400 mm, six heat-treated refillable chambers, engraved logo, retail boxed, quoted per drawing.
Filling recipe matters more than the box: buyers return hotels that arrive with powder Beetle-damaged bamboo. We sort, kiln and grade every filling.

Natural fillings are living material: bamboo must be mature and split, cones must be kiln-dried to kill larvae, straw must be pest-free or it arrives as an infestation at your warehouse. Every chamber we ship is heat-conditioned and inspected.

Landed-cost example: a 40'HQ of this category typically lands 18–34% above FOB once freight, duty and port handling are included. We build the packing list to maximise cube. Ask for the CBM per 40'HQ sheet.
The answers below are the ones we give on the phone. Anything missing, ask on WhatsApp.
Real and growing: garden centres run dedicated pollinator aisles, UK and Dutch councils buy in tender volumes for biodiversity plans, and schools order kit packs every spring. It is also one of the highest-margin wood categories per shipped kilogram, because buyers pay for the story, not the board feet.
Not with our process. All organic fill is heat-conditioned at 60 °C core for 30 minutes, sorted, and packed with a moisture reading below 14 %. Cartons carry a lot code so a single chamber can be traced to its treatment batch — we have never had a mould claim on 41 shipments since 2022.
Yes: shape, chamber count, colour, engraved logo panel, printed sleeve box, and species information leaflet in your language. Bring a sketch or a competitor photo and we return a 3-D mock-up and cost in 48 hours. Custom tooling is usually unnecessary — this is CNC and panel-saw work.
Order June–October for a February–March shelf date. Cluster capacity tightens in November (Christmas décor) and lead times stretch to 45 days; a July order locks the timber price and the slot.
Pine, poplar, paulownia, MDF and acacia profiles; primer, paint, foil, wax or distressed finish; glass, acrylic, backing, hanging hardware and barcode retail packing.
Picket, lap-board, arched trellis, lattice, reeded privacy screen, lawn edging, fence posts and caps, hit-and-miss, no-dig pet fence, sawn, treated and packed in one place.
Single and double-depth raised beds, keyhole and tiered beds, trough planters, window boxes with bracket, potting benches, vertical plant walls, half-barrel style, and hotel/restaurant patio planters.
Tell us target retail or landed cost and we reverse-engineer the build: species, thickness, finish, packing.
