Balcony Railing Plant Shelf
30–60 mm clamp, 15 kg, weep slots and safety strap, larch with exterior oil, quoted per drawing.
This is the product that turns a rented wall into a garden. It has to hang straight, hold weight on plasterboard, and let water leave the pot without staining the wall, three details that decide whether it gets a second order.

Pine is the correct default: light, cheap to ship, and stable in a dry interior. For a bathroom or a covered balcony, move to larch with a penetrating oil — the humidity swings in a bathroom will find any unfinished end grain within a season.

Wall racks go to renters, to cafés dressing a wall, and to garden centres selling a spring display unit. The carton and the fixing pack change with the channel; the product does not.
Clamp range, torque limit and load rating tested and printed on the fixing bag.
4 mm slots and a 5 mm stand-off so a wet pot never stains render or warps the shelf.
Larch or treated pine; interior lacquer never sold for balcony use.
Technical file, EU responsible-person data and market-specific fixing instructions.
The claim that matters here is no-drill or low-damage mounting, and it has to be substantiated. We ship the pull-test record with each fixing batch so a marketplace challenge does not end the listing. EU orders carry the GPSR file; US orders carry a load label and a Prop 65 statement where a coating requires one.

With the anchors in the bag, yes, up to 18 kg spread across six positions on the larger rack, which is more than six watered 12 cm pots weigh. On a stud wall it is a two-screw job. What we will not do is sell a rack with a single keyhole hanger and let the customer find out.
Both, in different channels. Raw sells to craft and paint-your-own buyers and to retailers who want a lower shelf price; oiled and painted sell online and in garden centres. If you can only take one, take oiled pine. It photographs as a product rather than as a kit.
On a covered balcony, yes, with the larch and penetrating-oil build. Fully exposed to rain, no — the joints will take water and the rack will stain the wall behind it. We would rather lose the order than ship the wrong specification into a customer complaint.
